Horror Game Recommendations

I have litteraly play a lot of horror games, and i mean a LOT. i ve been playing horror games since the ps1 ( im 20) so if you have any recommendations for horror games/ mods for ANY console please tell me. it doesnt just have to be on steam ( i have a ps1, ps2 xbox360, ds, and i think thats it). i like a challenge so dont hold back on recommendations and i may have also already played it. thanks a lot for the suggestions for anyone who posts.

A friend of mine has that game. It is awful, gameplay is crap. The only thing redeeming about the game is the storyline.

wow did not expect this many replys. played amnesia, penumbra daed space 1+2, doom 3, all the fears, slender, condemned, and yes, the new silent hills are terrible i played the ones on the ps1 and 2. BUT thatnk you guys i will check out some of these games but you should have put wat system there on :P.im def going to check out system shock 2 (always wanted it but forgot about it), the cellar, cold fear, clock tower the first fear, sweat home, and rule of rose.

too bad you do not own a wii or gamecube, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem is a pretty good horror game that is worth a playthrough. if you ever have the chance in the future play it.

Also any of the silent hill games, well 1-4 are pretty unsettling and quite scary also as Vampyre suggested F.E.A.R is a damn good horror game.

i do as a matter of fact own a gamecube, and a horror game on the GC?( other than resident evil) ive never heard of eternal darkness. and as i said before i have played fear

ahh i must have missed that you said it, but yea dude, Eternal Darkness is awesome, more of a psychological horror other than having alot of jump scares. it really get's creepy especially when your character starts going insane.

REALLY?!?!!?!?!? You call yourself a fan of horror games and never played it, let alone heard of it? For shame, go out and pick it up! Eternal Darkness is a fantasic game, it is the first game I know that breaks the 4th wall and not only messes with your in game character but also messes with you, the player.
