Who was the greatest general of all time
(Pleas do not make up a general, and give a reason why you think your general is the greatest, but you do not have to)

My list of top 5 Generals

Napoleon Bonaparte (not only was he OP in real life, he’s OP in NTW)
Alexander the Great (conquered a ♥♥♥♥ ton of land)
Mehmed II (captured Constantinople, an extremely defended city.)
George Washington (managed to keep a group of farmers from completely deserting in the middle of winter, with smallpox running rampant, and the greatest army of all time ready to blow them up)
Genghis Khan (conquered almost all of China)

Mehmed II. He was able to take the world's best defended city.

Mehmet was a certified badass, but I'm not sure the siege of Constantinople counts as a great victory. Or even his best moment.

He had a ridiculously massive army, and massively superior artillery. In the end he just bashed the walls down and swarmed in with numbers. Taking the city was a huge achievement, but I'm not sure it was amazing generalship. Or even Mehmet's best moment.

For me, the true test of a General is their ability to win under ridiculous battlefield conditions. And for me, that makes Alexander the Great and Julius Caeser the two ultimate generals - at least that I know of.
