What are the best RPGs you've ever played?

What are the best RPGs you've ever played? You can make a list of three games, four, five. etc. You can list up any game you've had a good experience with, as long as it is an RPG.

I have played loads of RPGs, and im currently searching for some new RPGs to play. So if you would help me, I would really appriciate it.

My list of my favourite RPGs would be this:
1. Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines
This is the best rpg I've ever played. No doubt. It has an amazing atmosphere and a storyline which is just... magic. I got sunk into the game and I have probably played it for many hours. (I played this game without adding it to my steam account, I have the cd version)

2. Dragon Age 1
I normally dont like the concept of having a party of heros instead of just one hero. One hero is my type of game play mostly. But this game kind of just dragged me into it. It has fantastic gameplay and the combat is "bloody" fun. Yes, its a lot of blood. My favourit part about this game is probably the characters. I fell in love with Morrigan, almost, for real. And some of the other characters I just.. I felt like I really knew them. I felt like we had a real relationship. It is kind of hard to explain, but im sure anyone that has played Dragon Age can relate. Haha

3. The Witcher: Enhanced Edition
A dark and magic game. The combat isn't the very best, but its classy, so, I like it. But this game really nails the story. One of the best storylines I've ever played. Sunk into it, and just played it for days. I love it.

4. The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind
Old and classic. I would play this game any day over Skyrim or Oblivion. The graphics isn't the best. Has been ages since I played it though.

5. Gothic 3
Open rpg. I never got to much hold of the storyline, lol. I just really enjoyed running around and either helping towns or attacking them. It was great fun. Of course, there was a lot more of the game that I enjoyed, it just takes so long to write it all down.


TL;DR: I want new rpgs. What should I try?

God. Seriously, how hard is it to learn how to speak a language? Because if the above is any indication, its' pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ easy.

FFS, sometimes foreigners just p*ss me off. I mean, they come on here, trying to talk our language, and actually DO! It's OUR LANGUAGE! GO USE YOUR OWN!

It makes me SO MAD!

I've never played in vampires the masquerade bloodlines but I've heard a lot of positive about it and your review was the last, inspired me to play this game :D Thank you!! btw I also love the Witcher, and recommend to you the 2nd part, they changed the combat system and the storyline in this game is still on top!

I'm also a great fan of the Witcher 1! It is an awesome game. And yeah, you should really try out VTM:B, it is and will always be - the best!

Tales of Sympoina. True, it's for the gamecube, BBBBBUUUUUUUTTTTTT, it was my frist ever RPG I ever played, so it's close to my heart. If you get past how, ampittly, cheesy it is at points.

I love Fire Emblem, Golden Sun, The Witcher, Ultima, FInal Fantasy VI, Morrowind and Chrono Trigger.

I have definitely not even begun to scratch the surface of the plethora of amazing RPGs available to me. Hopefully, in time, through GOG, Steam, and my consoles, I will compile a truly informed list of the RPGs suited to me. However, currently, my favorite RPGs are:

1. Paper Mario (my all-time favorite video game ever!)
2. Fallout 3
3. Final Fantasy VI Advance
4. Monster Hunter Tri
5. Mario & Luigi: Super Star Saga
6. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
7. Bioshock

I'm also playing Nostalgia and Planescape: Torment right now. I'm sure I will cherish them as soon as I delve further into them (especially Torment: God, this dialogue is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brilliant!!)

I can't play SOE games anymore (no I wasn't banned just lazy). I still play Aion, I'm playing Rift lite. However, I'm trying out Tera. So far I love playing as a Slayer, but I'm trying to figure out if I like being a Lancer....

Update: I deleted my Lancer & Slayer. I first replaced the Slayer with a Warrior because usually I play a character who dual wields. Then I switched the Lancer with the Berserker because he blocks.

Dragons Dogma was actually pretty cool. U scale giants and chimeras and other large monsters to take them down. They just came out with expansion but havent played that 1 yet.
