The bands I posted are black metal but fall closely under the folk category. I'm not much on melodic death metal, but I do listen to melodic black metal.

I've listened to some Agalloch and Caladan Brood. I've never heard of Ancient Rites, Vinterland, or Gallowbraid but I'll give them a listen. Thanks for the suggestions!

Whoa. I just listened to the Arkuum song, it's AMAZING. Definitely going to listen to them some more. Listened to the first parts of the other 2 songs, and Bewitched and Dawn both seem pretty good, so I'll check them out a bit later.
