When the beast kicks your butt, you need to laugh, and laugh hard, keep getting up til you're all bloody and stuff, you'll thank yourself, it will make you stronger, and also, scars are badass.

Just sit down, and casually play some games, always cheered me up! In fact, with all the construction I've been doing recently (I'm surprised Off-topic and my Friends list didn't start hating my guts), Just sitting around and playing a simple game like GMOD or one of the Total Wars or AOE is very comforting.
