if you like fps i would play tributes asent and battle feild 3
but if you like scify i would play star trek online
Relied on internet whoring. Youtube. People acting as if their accounts got hacked. The not-funny-never-was Leroy Jenkins.
Minecraft
Again internet whoring. Also that mine(con). Is not really a newcomer friendly made game (how do you set up multiplayer properly? Where's the server list? Why pay for a game that doesn't do these things by default?)
CoD series
Internet whoring. Youtube. The argument of kiddies playing this game while PC gamers are grown ups, (a complete lie as kiddies are found playing on all formats in many other "adult" PC games).
Battlefield series
Internet whoring. Youtube. Best graphics for a war game (BF3). Has been used against the CoD arguers. All misleading again as kids play this game too.
Dark Souls
"Its a hard game." Nope. Also same as above.
Dead Island
Over rated trailer, graphic mess of shadows and issues with various hardware that happens when you least expect it. Derpy devs left the modders to try and fix the derpy devs mess.
Other pre ordered games that have produced more disappointment than entertainment.
World of Warcraft
Starcraft 2
Its never the Americans that are bad is it?
I still yet have to play the episodes that were released afterwards. I started up the first episode but it was plain boring, I couldn't get into it. The first Half Life may have done well in bringing in scripted events compared to the very static shooters before, but scripting everything in Half Life 2 too wasn't new anymore and has long lost it's appeal to me - in any games, not just Half Life. That's why I don't play games like Call of Duty. A spectacular experience but once you've run through such games one time you can see where their limits and boundaries and are that they are very hollow in terms of gameplay.
And MMORPGs are overrated in the way that they always promise you things they can't live up to. Like becoming a famous hero or whatnot. As soon as you realize they always end up in the same vulgarity and profanity most multiplayer games do and that they won't ever stand up to the dynamic events and storytelling of single- or small scale multiplayer games they lose a huge amount of their initial appeal. What's a world worth creating and taking part in that dies as soon as your internet connection does or that depends on the constant time and money consuming support of companies and other players?
I win
Battleflield series: To me, the Battleflied series is just a CoD rip off! True I haven't played any of the games, but it seems to just trying to hard to be like Call of Duty! At least, in my opinion.
Dragon Age Origins: Now I amnit, it's not a bad game! Far from it! It has a intresting lore and backstory, a good size world, with quite a lot to do! However, the story was very hit-or-miss with me. And some of the characters were really! (I'm looking right at you, bloodly Ailster!) Plus, the villians weren't really that clear! The only villian that seem to be clear was Loghain! Then again, I may have not to much attenion to whose who. Lastly, the Darkspawn, or, as some people might say "Yay! Yet another horde enemy!!!!"Really Bioware? Really? Come on! Some people have had enought with monsters that work in hordes!
Call of Duty series: I kinda like this series but we should all know why I listed it!
Gears of War series: Another series I have never played, but I really don't want to play it. It's just seems to be another geneutic third person shooter. With the cover syetem. Which is annoying. I mean, it's not even realistc. Seriousally, ask anyone from the ar - shutting up now!
Huh. That's all I can think of at ze monent! Be back when I think of more.
Hate train approaching.
Anyways, my picks are:
Far Cry 3. Yeah yeah, it's open world shooty shooty bang boom. We get it, stop showing off. Also, have you seen the foliage up close in-game? It's horrible.
DayZ. Arma 2 didn't need zombies, Red Dead Redemption didn't need zombies, etc. Leave zombies to zombie games, damnit!
Minecraft/Terraria. Wow, you can build and junk. Big deal.
BF series/ CoD series. One is ♥♥♥♥, and one is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. And the war about them is more pointless than WWI
Elder Scrolls. You run around as a RPG stereotype hitting enemies with weapons that look like they were bought at a dollar store.
Kerbal Space Program. You build space ships and stuff. What do you get rewarded with for doing so? Nothing. Not even a shiny achievement.
Garry's Mod. It isn't even a game, and it's getting fame-♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the ass with piss-poor YouTube let's plays, and badly made mods (mods within a mod? Cue the Inception theme!).
SimCity 5. It's a bad game, why buy it and upload videos for it? FFS people...
L4D2. It's a mindless zombie shoot em' up. Why all the fame?
Whiny babies crying for HL3. I know this isn't a video game, but it needs to be said.
These are the games that I want to be more popular:
Project Zomboid. A really good 2D survival horror.
WildfireWorlds. A cool game. I don't know how to describe it, but it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome.
Black Shades. A FPS game made in a day. Very addicting.
Overgrowth. It's really cool. Why didn't Wolfire put this one up on Greenlight?
