PS Vita or 3DS?

I am debating whether to get a PS Vita or the 3DS in the near future.

I have searched the internet but still unable to come to a conclusion.

In terms of games, I have played plenty of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd on the PSP.

I don't know much about consoles.

Anyway, putting games aside, which of the following systems have a better value for money? The features, wifi connection support, memory space support, hardware performance, etc. On which system will I eventually get the most out of it?

3DS. Ok, that may be a bit - ok, very - bias, since I grew up with Nintendo, but the 3DS is worth a look. In fact, I'm getting one for my birthday, in Octorber, so I will reported back once I got it.

3DS. The Vita sucks. It maybe more advanced than the 3DS but what good is it without the software? It's a paperweight that's what. Vita has no games but rehashes and lazy ports. There are about 3 games that are worth getting a Vita and that is about it. 3DS has way more original games than Vita ever will.

the vita.... later on in the future it will work with the ps4 and be able to play ps4 games..... if ur in to more rpgs and sidescrollers go with the 3ds. If ur more about online and adventure games go with vita.

Monster Hunter is on the 3DS. Nintendo got a deal with Capcom to hold the license until 2017 is im not mistaken.

Hmmm... There is also a 3DS XL..

I am still currently debating whether to get the VITA or 3DS XL..

As much as I LOVE Monster Hunter.. I just can't avoid the fact that the VITA is superior in every way.

And last I heard that the PS Vita will be able to play PS3/4 games?

In this case which company have a better business practice? Nintendo or Sony?

Vita is only superior to the 3DS in the tech department. It's great for what it can do but it has crap for games. The Vita's library has mostly nothing but rehashes, lazy ports of existing games on otherwise superior systems and with lack of original content. Yeah the Vita had a rocky start but the sad truth is that it has been a little over a year and the Vita still doesn't really have games which is sad. The 3DS trumps the Vita anyday with it's library of games. The 3DS had a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ launch wtih crap games but it started pumping out great games within the 6 month marker after it launched as compared to Vita which has maybe 3 games worth getting.

Vita is beautiful but has no games. The only good games the vita has are ports from elsewhere. 3ds has plenty of epic exclusives.

What's the point in buying a console with no good games?

I'll throw in my two cents.
The Playstation Vita has HD graphics, Trophies, Custom Soundtracks, Better Multiplayer as well as cross game chat. And.... I think I would pick the PSVita. You'll definitely have to look at the game libraries/line-ups for both to help make your decision. Ask yourself this, do you prefer Sony Exclusives or Nintendo Exclusives?

Vita just has a lack of games and looking at all the games nintendo is releasing this summer I would buy a 3DS

To be honest I'm not really interested in either, but if I had to have an opinion I'd say the PS Vita for Persona 4 Golden, its the only portable game I've really went out of my way to try and hunt down and play, which I managed fairly recently.
