Not to mention all the mods for it. That game looks creepy as hell.

It definitely is creepy and it's a must play for horror fans, especially if you're also a fan of the SCP site. The game is far more effective if you know the backstory a bit. :)

Yeah I saw a Youtube playthrough of SCP Containment breach and checked out the site to look at all the SCP monsters and such, I was unaware that universe had such a deep background. Quite interesting honestly ^__^

The point of some horror games is to make you scared. Being scared can make you sick. You should thank the game (Amnesia) for doing its job on your friend

Also, Dead Space, Resident Evil. I don't know if many people would consider this game 'scary' or not, but I thought Alan Wake was pretty friggin creepy honestly.

I can spend hours on that site reading SCPS, some of them are brilliant. I've had many ideas for them myself but haven't spent the time and energy to write any of them up properly yet. Some of those entries are just amazingly horrific. There are some awesome writers on there.

Consoles mostly, but there are some on pc as well. First person games are actually the minority as far as horror games go. Siren, Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, Resident Evil, etc are all third person, some of the major horror franchises.

The Fatal Frame series is rather unique (along with Silent Hill 4) in that it incorporates both first and third person gameplay.

since you researched it, what is your favorite scp? my in SCP-049

I like SCP-049 too, 096 scares the hell out of me, but I think my favorite is SCP-079. Something about the AI thing is creepy to me. I also like that it's not really an enemy or friend. It's just kind of there.

Half-Life 2 is the only game I even own that has horror in it. The Jump Scares are what makes it truly terrifying.
