What are some good scary/horror/creepy games for Halloween season?

NecroVision - I haven't really played it yet, just until the actual player action itself started, but it makes a bloody/brutal/scary/hellish impression. It's "low violence" when bought in Germany via the Steam store (I am in Germany.), but I bought it via Bundlestars.com and think that I got an uncensored version.

I assume you're referring to motion sickness caused by fov issues. I suffer from this with some games myself, I have a few I can't even play because they make me ill within a few minutes. Amnesia did give me mild cases of it, but I found if I turned off the 'insanity effects' for a while (the screen blurring and such) then it would calm down. Also your friend might not be aware that some games do allow you to change the FOV to make it wider so that motion sickness is less likely.

I haven't tried dramamine or ginger capsules out for it yet, but some people get good results from those too.

It definitely is creepy and it's a must play for horror fans, especially if you're also a fan of the SCP site. The game is far more effective if you know the backstory a bit. :)

Is it motion sickness that your friend is feeling? I think most of the these games, aside from System Shock will make your friend sick. You need to find something that will not have a lot of "head" or camera movement. Older games are the ones you'll need to look at. Too much swaying and bobbing will send your friend to the rest room. Or you could just keep a bucket handy lol
