and no doubt this game will include the necessary propaganda to guide these people into a belief that anyone who wants to stop it in any way, is a terrorist, a a bad person, and should be hunted down and killed without any discretion by none other than a team of international soldiers, operating under none other than the united nations as if the UN has any right sending any kind of military or police force into this country to force their laws upon us
so the very thought of this new rainbow six game and ubisoft in general just sickens me to a point to where i cant even play any games of theirs i might already have without a great sense of shame and disgust.. the only thing this company deserves from me at this point is a vertical placement of my middle digit
Took the words right out of my mouth. UBI is so desperate for a hit, they think if they make a game controversial, it must sell. R6 is a shadow of its former self.
but still, my favorite rainbow six game and i mean i played the hell out of this.. was black arrow on the original xbox, theyve been going downhill since then and one of the features i loved from that game was the variety in maps.. maps from all around the world, not just a single city

And who knows, patriots might make a blacklist angle, where the motives of the terrorists arent actually what they are publicly saying. In blacklist the engineers say that their motive is to bring the troops home, but in reality thats all a lie to get leverage and gain something else. Could be the same thing. These "True patriots" could be using this angle to try and play with emotions people are having in the country to gain leverage and then turn on them for the master plan.
IDK, this is all speculation, but tom clancy is a very patriotic, conservative man, and in no way would he write a story where terrorists, or pro corrupt governments are portrayed as good. Thats just not simply what he believes in any way shape or form. We know this from his various books and writings, and interviews.
its like the US CITIZENZ! that were targetted and killed via drone-strike in pakistan.. whether terrorists or not, as US citizens they had a right to a fair trial and due process.. did people make a fuss about it? not really because once someones labeled a terrorists it doesnt matter what happens to them anymore whether theyre guilty of it or not.. and im sick and tired of this conditioning of the american people to sit by and let crimes against our own people go on based on a declaration of a label
Im not disagreeing with you in any way right now. I just think your making some assumptions about the game.
How about you providing a source for Tom being the writer of the R6: Patriots story? Rainbow 6 Patriots Creative Director Is Gone[www.gameinformer.com] states otherwise with the firing of narrative director Richard Rouse III, being fired from the development team as well as lead designer Philippe Therien (otherwise known as Goliath) who had made some really stupid statements about the R6 franchise and PC gamers in the past. he should have been canned long time ago.
Narrative means story and that article shows that Tom, who hasn't had much to do with video games after he sold his name to Ubisoft, wouldn't have written that story.
