Why are dating apps so dead?
10 years ago they were somewhat usable.

I think probably because they became a hot spot for scammers trying to get money, people trying to collect Instagram follows, and bored people with new AI tools.

Yeah, I heard about that scam. The woman destroyed her marriage, family and got divorced.

They're dead for multiple reasons. A long long list of reasons ranging from basic human nature to "designed to keep you single".

I really feel sorry for you younger lot. Over 60% of you meet online now (at least the ones who are dating)...and well..doesnt work for a lot of people.

I just chat women up and if they're into it, great. If not, I get them to stop screaming about why I'm in their bathroom with my sleepy rag!

But all joking aside...(it's a sleepy injection, not a rag).

Just talk to the opposite sex like people if you're looking for a partner and sooner or later, you'll get there.

Yeah I know some modern women (if you're a guy) are insufferable and so are some men but this is why you pick wisely and dont rush.
They are not dead they are on life support as my friend calls it.

AKA the current state of the game team fortress 2.
Dating apps are dead because they only work for women and the top 20 percent of men.

If you’re an average/sub-average man, the only matches you’ll get will be from landwhales, single mothers, transgenders, bots etc.

Yeah, pretty much. That's the way the world has gone since modern feminism and social media.

Most peoples on it are bots or paid to keep peoples engaged, it never worked to begin with, waste of time, pure and simple.

Because they aren't "dating" apps. They're sex apps, gathering and funneling together people who want to have consequence-free sex the most.

True to form, there is no surge of human reproduction because of these just a surge of of idiots, whether they are simping or whoring themselves out, none of which produce decent children.

Honestly, for the astute person, they'e almost handy in that way, because they provide examples of what NOT to do, and I daresay the Left KNOWS this. For all their diatribes about sexual freedom, they don't put their own children in such circumstances.

Great video on what's happened:

Dating apps have followed the large online phenomenon best described as the "Enshitification of the Internet," first coined by Engadget. This is an observable and repeated cycle we've seen in business like Facebook, Amazon, Uber, Grubhub, etc., where the companies/apps start out offering tremendous value to consumers. Over time, that value shifts to suppliers at the consumers expense, as costs go up and features are pared back and paywalled. Over even more time, that value again shifts to the platform's shareholders, creating a business that sucks for users and suppliers. At the end, the entire experience goes to ♥♥♥♥, and people eventually stop using the service all together.
