Do you believe more in love at first sight or in love that grows over time?
:CatPeep:Do you have any ideas?

I believe that feeling is a limitation, but that limitation is not always a bad thing.
I believe that if you learn to temper and control your feeling through learning to separate feeling from thought, than what you actually do is wholly script-flip every incredibly manipulative s.o.b. that will run up on you and give them their much earned come-uppings.
And I also believe that these two things is what makes an individuals experience of life all worth the while socially.

It is like food that you have to peel away many layers of bad things for you in order to get to anything true and worth the while. The effort in quality yielded is worth the counter-flip to do so.

You learn in life what joy is, by learning first how to pacify pain and sorrow when all that life has ever given you, is pain and sorrow.

This is what artists do.

You creatively work with the tools that are given unto you to work with.
And if your tools are broken and your art repeatedly thwarted. than you simply downshift, take a step back in reflection, analyze, and then creatively improvise accordingly and just keep going.
no, i dont believe in love at first sight. there can only be attraction at this stage. you cannot love someone if you have never spoken to them, dont know nothing about them.

when you get to know them more, the good and the bad, and have accepted them as a human being beyond just their physical appearance, this is when love becomes possible.
Love at first sight, as I don't think love grow with time, quite the opposite, it tend to fade with time from what I can see around me. The passion of the first time never come back and is replaced by something else for the long term couples, more of a sort of sentimental bonding.
idk. whichever comes first.

It's like peeling an onion, isn't it? Even though it makes you cry while peeling it, it's still worth it.

for many yes, but it is possible to maintain it indefinitely. the problem is, people are always growing and changing. who they were when they first got married, may not be the same person in 30 years. adapting to changes in your partner, especially significant ones, most people cannot do this. or they fall out of love because the person they fell in love with no longer exists, so to speak

it also takes a lot of hard work to maintain love and affection throughout the decades. most simply dont have the time or energy. they work too much, have to take care of kids and other relationships etc. it makes it hard to prioritise your partner.

but i do think its possible to remain in love, its just very difficult. and most fail, unfortunately

It reminds me of some content in Love in the Time of Cholera written by García Márquez.
if there is hate at 1st sight, there is love too.
Better to see what you are gonna fall in love with than be blinded by love.

Correct.
Love at first sight is only for people who have a Christ-like heart.

it's fiction
real
I believe in both
there's people out there that felt an instant connection maybe even Romeo & Juliet style
I don't think that's ever happened to me though, all the guys I ended up falling for later I was not attracted to at all in the beginning and it was an event or specific conversation down the line that changed everything uwu
there aint no such thing as love
