He probably realised how stupid taking away Asmongold's blue check made him look. As he gave it back later. Though I suppose some people don't even know he took it away in the first place, but yeah, that's his goto response if someone on the right makes him angry. Confiscate their blue check they paid for. This is just the first time he received so much blow back for doing it I imagine.

He has gear with impossible stats almost, his staff on his character is literally unique roll vise worldwide. There is no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way he wasn't boosted because he can't even play the game. Plus he has one of the higher level characters on hardcore meaning he would have to never die to get there, which come on it's impossible he did it.

Yep. And since he faced no consequences due to having more expensive lawyers. This was probably the point, where Musk realized, that he could say anything, true or not. This is what he means with being a "freedom of speech absolutist". It applies to him and him only.

and also he (elon musk) was failing to understand basic concepts of poe. he was playing as a noob or someone who only has secondary knowledge of such a thing. which is not necessarily bad, but he was CLAIMING otherwise. he was acting as if he was a veteran of poe, when it is extremely obvious to any poe player that this is not the case

He paid people (Chinese, probably because it's cheaper and also they are less likely to get caught by Western gamers due to the language barrier) to level up the character for him.

He was failing to understand basic concepts of action rpgs period. Many of these things weren't exclusive to POE. I have played a Diablo 2 more than 20 years ago and even I was immediately disgusted by some things he did, like dragging items into his inventory. Nobody, who actually has played such a game for more than a couple of hours does that.

I don't know about it being a unique roll. It's just so good you couldn't find it on the trade league for any amount of money. And meanwhile in Elon's stream he didn't seem to have any understanding of the staff he had equipped, only commenting on it being a lvl 62 staff and that it's quite a low level for his lvl 90+ character. When that was just a level requirement to equip the item, and not the item's actual level range you expect it to be used at.

Elon's chinese boosters understood the item was basically the best he could have for his character, and he was so bad at the game he thought it was bad gear and they couldn't get better because it's hardcore.

yes i am thinking that elon musk pretty much just poses as what he believes is the primary population of his followers. such as in this case, gamers who would be more inclined towards western arpgs such as poe. he pretends to be what his fanbase is to appeal to them, but its obvious to anyone with knowledge of such things how fake he is

Funny enough, I have 30 hours in PoE 1. I just checked my profile history to confirm that as I played it around a decade ago. I consider myself a noob in that game. I played 30 hours to find out I really just didn't like the economy being more trade based than gold based. World chat was full of people trading in chaos orbs or whatever.

So even I, a Path of Exile 1 noob who doesn't like PoE and hasn't played it for 10+ years, seems to know more about PoE 2 by proxy. As I wouldn't have passed by a chaos orb loot drop like Elon did.

I mean perfect rolls at this point on a staff like this not far from release on hardcore might as well be an unique at this point but yeah i did misinterpret it as it just wasn't on the market but anyways Musk literally can't play the game and don't know how good his gear is and has no loot filters, no game sense, can't even use mana flask when oom, he's a complete noob and pretend to be one of the best players periods while we can all see he's boosted.
