Thomas Mahler, the CEO of Moon Studios, the developer behind No Rest for the Wicked, Ori and the Blind Forest/Will of the Wisps warned gamers to be careful regarding optimism towards Elder Scrolls VI and The Witcher 4.

Well I don't buy into hype for any games, but I preorder games I know I want, and I want ES 6. I will take his advice and be very cautious about being optimistic about his games though because they seem pretty basic. Anyway, there are also rumors of ES4 remake coming this year and I am excited for that.

Ciri should have been the lead but not a witcher.

It looks like the fans are hyped because the mods on Steam and Reddit have gone on the most insane banning and censorship spree since the halcyon days of the Polish People's Republic.

CDPR community manager is a wokeie who in his own words hates gamers, Ciri looks like an ugly man for ideological reasons, the devs will break lore to shoehorn a female witcher lead, Cyberpunk 2077 shows the studio has awful top management that have no idea what game they're trying to make so they tell their devs to make all of them in one and see what comes out.

I believe the original idea with Witcher 4 was to allow players to make their own Witcher and pick their school etc. Kinda disappointed we just get Ciri, I didn't like playing her much in Witcher 3

Same here, I do not play female Toons in any game and I will not purchase a game that forces that onto the player.

Yeah CDPR really messed up by making one of the top 10 games of the last decade.

Yeah CDPR really messed up by making one of the top 10 games of the last decade.

But that doesn't negate what I said that they messed up. Was it not at launch?

I'll keep an open mind until I see the gameplay and how the game works before I pass judgment. Not going to pay attention to someone who isn't involved in the making of said games.

Besides, optimism is far better than pessimism. If they don't look or work they way I think they should I can always vote with my wallet and not buy them.

This makes me wonder how this particular CEO would feel if those developers came out and were pessimistic about Moon Studio games.

Note: I own multiple Elder Scrolls games and The Witcher 3 and love those games. Telling me after the fact of those games that future games from those developers might not be good is like telling me you are prescient. I am yet to know someone personally who knows any future game is going to suck because they said so.

I will make that decision. Thanks for chiming in but I'll wait for the actual product to decide.
