Because the vast majority of the public are just propaganda soundboards nowadays.
If you ask someone why they support the very institutions that are screwing them over, all they can do is repeat some meaningless soundbyte: "b-because...immigrants! ...or...taxes! s- ...uh... state's rights!"
The secret answer is that they are genuinely dumb enough to believe that if they're a good enough bootlicker they might get to be one of those 3 people one day
Jeff Bezos complained about not knowing what to do with all his money and that the only option is to build a rocket that looks like a pen%$.
Yep! But you literally can't get people to see it, even when it's right in their face.
It's dumb enough that we've enslaved our whole species to a resource that only exists in our heads... but to then subscribe to that fantasy widely enough that the manufactured scarcity of an imaginary resource impacts societal living standards, and people are somehow okay with that?
If you tried to explain this to aliens they'd think you're full of ♥♥♥♥, because no 'advanced intelligence' could possibly be this retarded.
Those billionaires do not have piles of money just sitting around nor enormous bank accounts.
What they have are shares, industries, trademarks and so forth.
By and large the wealth of the 1% (which btw is everyone making more than 430k bucks a year - hardly only the millionaires and billionaires) is not liquid but is tied down.
Those billionaires have not made 10s of billions of dollars since the election, the value of those properties they own shares of has increased and therefore their net value has increased.
Having cleared that, you want to fight wealth inequality?
Stop using the services provided by those billionaires.
Do not do your shopping on Amazon because it's easier to have the product delivered at home and costs you less than going out to buy them yourself.
Do not buy coffee at Starbucks so that you can take a shot to put on instagram.
Do not buy the latest IPhone just because it's nice.
Those people are not stealing your money, you're giving them your money by your own volition.
So stop creating the problem and then demand someone else fixes it for you.
wow....this^^^ is the most valid way to explain how the rich hide the money and make it make them more money......its also complete drivel from the controlling class he will never have the bank account to be part of.......
you have no choice.....choosing not to use one billionaire's offerings means you only use another billionaire's offerings.....
Although I agree with you that we should collectively stop giving them our money, they do have liquid assets. That is how they fund their bought and paid for politicians, their latest yacht, or their $50,000 purse. They likely have more liquid assets than most of us will ever earn in our lifetimes.
That's depressing.
support competitor
