They released a massive patch update and hired a dude with BIG BALLS to do bug hunting.
Was a great game for a while.
The devs sold out to the producers for a long time now and the game has changed.
Economy is garbage in the game. New players don't really have a chance to progress anymore without spending real money to buy their way into the game.
Unless you are a whale, stay away.
The devs are complete dimwits, the bugs are numerous and no one knows how to fix them, the other players are toxic arses - but the overall atmosphere is fantastic and i've never felt that in any other game. The maxi plus is that you can patch in your own mods - they do not stick always and can crash when the devs are doing they monkey wrenching but it's always fun memories !
One of the best games evaaaaaaa ! Recommend warmly and on my top 3 of all times :)
Pro-tip : avoid the other players. Seriously.

There is rampant crime, and you should always be aware, and public transportation is a mess, but people here always find a way to look on the bright side of things.
However, we are not guilllable. Things can go very bad if you mistake smiles and nice treatment with being anaware somehow.
Also, racism and xenophobia here is extreme crime. Any neonazi fool trying to pull something, will get clubbed down and arrested.
That said, there are beautiful landscapes and vivid cultures, that differ a lot among states, and specially among the 5 regions (*way* more diversity than among US states, that just change the shape of the pizza or the order of the bacon & cheddar).
Also, avoid Rio. RJ blows. Its just a postcard - move on.
My friend told me if this review gets 100 thumbs up he will eat 10 cans of Spam on twitch
Imagine a theme park MMO, except make all the areas bland with only minor differences. Everything is green. Some parts have hills. Some parts have sheep. The only constant is that wherever you go, everyone speaks funny. I know Hollywood movies and other videogames have given us the stereotype that all fantasy people have to speak with whimsical dialects, but come on. There's an entire area of the game where they speak Dwarf but they aren't even short FFS!
The developers are maniacs who keep getting caught having parties and forging résumés when they aren't actually working on the game, which is to say, they're never working on the game. The last update was almost a year ago and it gave us this new leader of the fictional country at the heart of the game, called "Keith Stairmaster" or something. Was it worth the intensive hours that went into his (honestly kind of offputting) character model and dialogue lines? No. He doesn't do anything.
Also, I don't know if it's just me, but someone completely effed up the particle effects and I keep seeing rain everywhere, sometimes even indoors.
I could keep going, but the conclusion remains the same. Buggy mess. Avoid until they actually patch it to work (which they never will).
