Free speech caused the Holocaust??? Do you realise how dumb your statement is?
you are getting trolled by venom of all people, my "Z" friend.
yep. i will not downplay heroics of usa soldiers themselves in the war, because they helped saved the lives of many. but usa army generals and leadership and such? yeah, they could not have cared less.
that was an incidental benefit, but again, not why they went to war.
The U.S.A. didn't go to war until after Pearl Harbor. If it was just about forging alliances it would've been done sooner. The world's kind of lucky that Japan got too big for its britches or else it'd be under Nazi regime, and we'd probably be saying people would take a whole bunch more stock in eugenics.
We can't even save ourselves from trillions of missing money so how do you expect us to help anyone else out? Our own government needs to be held accountable first and hasn't been for a very very long time.
You can have free speech so free your brains fall out and nothing works. No better then full on fascism. Either scenario nothing gets done and ends in a mountain of 💀💀💀's.
did you post in the wrong thread or something? i am also not american.
That's because we didn't have good enough weapons in 1939 to go to war with. We still had peanut shooters and crappy Navy ships retrofitted from WW1 heavily modified. The Lend Least program and the WW2 monopolies actually fired up production big time.
Then we did something even dumber by having all our Navy forces be all in one spot to be a soft target. They were better off secured up and down the US West Coast with a good chunk in San Diego which was much harder to reach as it was the mainland and could attack better.
Roosevelt had a 7 point power plan to get us into WW2 by making the enemy strike first.
