Good and bad game fonts

I have a theory that part of the reason people hate Fortnite so much is that knock-off comic sans font they use. For some reason it infuriates me. It's lighthearted but corporate.

Certain fonts can elevate a game (whatever the GTA font is called) and others can unfairly harm a game's rep like the generic Microsoft Word papyrus font in Thief 3.

Am I crazy?

Never actually played Fortnite, so thought I would ask. Steam might be a terrible place to ask though.
