Because of the time period/community and better anti-cheat back then, or something else?
-The movement is kinda wierd for me. (I don't have much experience in CS2)
-From the buy menu you don't have access to all weapons and now you can chose which weapons you want to be available in the matches.
-And some balance changes that they always do.
Edit: I found out that you can supposedly play the legacy version with custom servers. Is this authorized or doable?
cs2 i think it's just csgo but better, an upgrade if you want.
cs2 is not a spinoff, its a ground up redesign of cs:go, modernized.
the application is much nicer now than it ever has been.
coming from someone who's played it from back before valve created the store.
There's no MTX unless you want flashy looking guns or costumes. the application is free, and doesn't require payment to play it anymore. it used to cost per copy.
they should actually go back to that, i think that was the biggest detriment to cheating and being banned - needing to re-buy the game.
Good point about purchasing. If this game has invite-only lobbies, it'd be golden, since I could organize them or go to private Discord servers or something.
you can arrange matches by grouping the participants together. you can launch a local server/password protected as well, and invite your friends to it for more customization.
the game also contains a comprehensive enemy bot script navmesh, and if you crank up the difficulty on those things, they won't miss a shot, you'd think you were playing ultra dark souls.
