I've never liked Sony after they sued George Hotz for his console unlocks (I don't consider freeing a system from technocracy and legal BS to be a hack).

Same here. Unlike software, companies no longer own the hardware once it's sold. Customers can do whatever they want with it.

I tend to favor right-to-repair. I admit I don't know a whole lot about that case in particular, or what sort of interactions the parties had (if any) before the suit.

real world without sony selling in 3rd world countries they would have had to close the LameStation division when PS3 dropped.....Ubi-Sucks had better sales last year then sony's first party games.....oops......
