Breath of Fire III.
Final Fantasy 7 (Original).
Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together.
Persona 5.
because the combat and why should i have these amounts of squadmates make actual sense.
- drakengard and nier replicant/gestalt (action jrpg)
- koudelka, shadow hearts 1, shadow hearts covenant
- parasite eve 1 and 2
- final fantasy tactics (srpg)
these are probably mine.
Breath of Fire is a great series. I've mostly played 2 and 4 though.
I need to finish koudelka. I've started and re-started playthorughs on duckstation a couple times but I always get distracted by something else. It's a good game though. Interesting horror/jrpg hybird.
My little brother is obsessed with this series.
Word.
I just put the speech text into one cell and the +ATK -DEF +BUFF formulae in another.
koudelka/shadow hearts series is great (except new world). indeed, it is being a very interesting combination of horror and jrpg, which is quite rare.
there are some more modern rpgs (though western) which are the unique combination of rpg and horror as well i recommend:
- lisa the painful rpg (and joyful epilogue dlc)
- fear & hunger 1 and 2
- omori
