When UPlay came out as a launcher in its own right and games were tied to it in order to play (making it a DRM), the right to own the games disappeared and it became a right to access the games through an account Ubisoft owned.
So this latest bit of news is very, very old.
Well, there's people excited about Shadows right now.
You have hit the nail on the head.
When I cancelled my sky TV subscriptions many years ago, I lost access to the many movies I purchased including oringal Starwars movies, the Transformers 1986 movie, Highlander and many more. It got me thinking, I have spend quite a bit of money on these movies and now don't have access to any of them unless I re-subscribe with a new contract to sky TV.
So from that moment I decided not to purchase digital movies and will only buy movies on either blu-ray/dvd or some future format. I have no issue with renting movies digitally but I will never purchase films again.
What game ? There is something betwwen The Elden Ring DLC release and Space Marine 2 ? I've stopped caring for mediocre companies long ago so I don't know. :p
Later ubisoft.
>Sits on high horse about other mediocre junk
What ? I can't ear you from up here ! Take a ladder or whatever ...
But their games ain't even worth doing that. Save your storage for other games.
