I seem to have been missed our unless I have missed out
That's a shame, oh well
Any particular reason for that? It's such a great book and was so innovative and creative for its time, and let me not forget to mention it was written by the famous German author Ernst Hoffmann. I would think it would at least get a passing mention at some point when Germans are going through their schooling, no?
I do read quite a lot, but I have never heard of it. Even though I have a huge library in my basement, consisting of thousands of books, many being hundreds of years old already.
Its some comedic stuff that has no relevance to German literature.
Hoffmann is not famous.
hoffmann while well known is a rarer pick and mainly relevant for older generations where old german philosphy had higher value.. in actual literature classes u will surely encounter him but outside hes usually only known by name
He still hasn't answered my German chocolate cake question. me thinks me might be busy chewing a Hershey's bar
