You say you want to ensure a stronger future, but you are finite.
You changed nothing, you just added to the circle of life, all life is... is a circle, it goes around and around, power exchanging different hands and it never ends.
There is no future or past, just our small time on Earth thinking we truly are significant enough that the past and future in our minds somehow will be the future, it never is true and mostly small little coincidences are due to the minds natural pattern - recognition biases.
We don't serve ourselves, we serve all that is not on Earth, look deep enough and our cells are solar system - like.
Look far beyond our Earth and we see the same space and vastness, we are nothing.
We serve things greater than our tiny minded materialism.
The fear I mentioned is a different fear, the selfish kind, the kind that makes you think "I am the most important person to myself, I will not protect my friends, my family, and my people as a whole if it means I will personally be at risk."
I have been fighting my entire life, mostly internally and mentally, some of us are at war constantly, another person stepping up to the pile is no braver than the person laid down ignoring a request.
We are not in control of our nature, the control part is why the world is so out of shape. In the minds of people like Putin.
Control only strengthens the fact that I must not be controlled, and when I am uncontrolled, I better have within my nature an ability to see myself.
Putin is the tip of the iceberg.
The same oligarchs who installed putin, have also installed zelensky and our own national leaders.
I agree with you, I think there's a simple miscommunication here, all I'm saying is that at the end of the day, war helps out humanity in the long run, it is unfortunate that wars today have been perverted into fighting for a few elites in power, like Putin, and Zelensky.
War have terrible consequences on populations, if the west is so weak today it's for a great part because of WW2's trauma. Also, the war in Ukraine was provocked by the USA to serve US interrests, with their US-backed coup called "euromaidan" in 2014. In reality it's a war between the USA and Russia, Ukraine is just the battleground so americans can hit Russia without spilling a drop of their own blood.
I'm not a coward nor a weakling, but I refuse to fight for the USA, I fight only for my own population's interests, not even for my country's interests, as I understand that government and populations have different interests. If it doesn't benefit to the average french, I don't care.
Being able to fight is important yes, but choosing your fights well is very important too.
The farmers, engineers, nation builders all had enough and went protest.
It is often not reported.
To stop the war, it is not about the leader. If the people are silent, it will continue for many more years.
The more you help them, the longer they stay silent.
