why would you do this uwu
Tomo-chan is a Girl is basically Nagatoro but without everyone in it being an awful piece of crap aside from Senpai.
Are you talking about in regards to anime or manga? Because due to most anime being adaptations of pre-existing source material and a 1-to-1 conversion being not as commonplace as some might like, that might not actually be canon.

That being said all I know about Nagotoro is that it involves art students and the titular character being a reprehensible piece of ♥♥♥♥. So going based on that, I have some recommendations.

  • Honey and Clover - a story about the interpersonal relationships of four art students at university. Two seasons, and it's somewhat bittersweet towards the end.
  • The Hero Who Seeks Revenge Shall Exterminate With Darkness - the protagonist is as reprehensible a piece of ♥♥♥♥ as Nagatoro, only he's got magic and his one true love is revenge.
  • Killer Shark from Another World - this isn't a recommendation, I just want to mention the one instance of a manga I know of which pays homage to Sharknado.
  • Hidamari Sketch - basically the answer to the question someone has asked at least once - what if K-on was about art students?.
  • Excel Saga - this isn't a recommendation, I just wanted to mention an anime which had it's finale pulled due to references to the Aum Shinrikyo sarin gas attacks.

I don't have very many recommendations involving reprehensible protagonists or deuteragonists unless you want me to talk about something like Narutaru or Bokurano. I gave you all the art school and/or club recommendations I have.

The Comic Series Of Nagatoro - Didn't read it all but at the end Senpai asked her to be his girlfriend and she cries and says yes - telling him he has to take responsibility for making her a better person.

I've also seen Narutaru Shining Star or whatever it's called.

Shadow Star Narutaru or just Narutaru. I read the manga - binged it over the course of an afternoon. Yeah, kind of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ series but I like it. Bokurano is similar except replace the psychic dragons, childhood trauma and parthenogenesis with giant robots, childhood trauma and alternate universes.
And You Thought There Is Never a Girl Online?
ToraDora
Hale & Guu
Zero no Tsukaima
Tsukuyomi Moon Phase

I think C-money is like this too.
