urs pfp's r fun and refreshing. maybe they r jealous
no your hat is pretty uwu
Or they don't want others to break their escapism fantasies and refuse gaming platforms to become "social networks 2". If you want to show yourself there is already instagram and other platforms like that. :o
I don't really care about that. If someone really want to find you he always can, one way or another, you'd be surprised. Nope, I just want it to stay as far from real life as possible, it's two different things from my point of view, that don't mix well.
Peoples showing their real faces bring also all the boring flexing stuff, everyone pretending to have the best life online and so on. Just give me a break with that, I prefer peoples to be anonymous here.
steam already had social networking features since it's creation, it's not JUST an online store
by that logic we shouldn't be allowed to upload any picture including steam defaults as we should just upload those on Instagram right? we should hypothetically all be forced to be question marks uwu
Because I find it interesting to talk with peoples when no social flexing is involved, when there is no fear of being rejected or anything like that. It's my way to try to understand others better and if they bring too much real life stuff, it will ruin it and I will probably leave as a result if it become too much of that.
It's interesting because peoples are anonymous and can talk sincerely without fearing anything. If they link their true identity with it, it change everything, we'll see the same boring things peoples post all around, pretenting to be better than others and so on. And I'm tired of all these social network BS, professional social network being the worst about that (Linkedin). I just want for it to feel less fake, more genuine and a lot of peoples just can't do that with their real faces.
