I hate summer, I hate heat.
I hate summer, I hate heat.
I will never understand why some people like sitting in their flat the entire day, sweating, having like 30 plus degree celsius just to then go out in scorching hot temperatures with sun that will make your eyes cramp up.

There is nothing nice about this at all. This is nice for an hour or two at most. Thats it.

Not to forget that most people have allergies nowadays. That kick in when all these nasty bugs crawl out of their holes and plants that start growing, while ticks can get into your pants and give you life threatening dieseases.

Looking forward to autumn and winter.

For me, if you're on the street, heat is still better than cold. +30°C is better than -30°C. Although I prefer +18°C.

Nah, I disagree.

True that.

But the other season is winter which is cold all the time.

Spring & Fall are the best, there neither too hot or cold.
but winter going to be sweet

it is summer going to be hard killer and worst summe rextend to may and spetember, so spring and fall going to be replaced by summer :^(

Not everyone seems to grasp the brilliance of an air conditioning system, but I suppose that’s to be expected.

Not everyone seems to grasp that AC isn't a thing in every country due to local laws, housing situation being just a tenant not an owner or simply not having the environmental capabilities to use one.

You can get a window AC unit from Walmart for 100 bucks and take it with you when you go (if you're renting).
I hate when it's to hot and I hate when it's to cold.

And they only use pennies a day to run.

Yeah they're actually pretty good with energy usage now, unlike those old units that required a 220 outlet to even run.

My old apartment had a in the wall ac that was 220 used about as much electricity as my 220 dryer.
Sigh ... you'd think summertime has only existed since this person was born. If you live in a high humidity state it is even worse.

I went on a vacation to Florida in the summer of 1997. When I left Florida it was 97 degrees with 100% humidity. When I landed in Phoenix it was 113 degrees at 15% humidity. It felt way hotter in Florida.
how come it's summer and all the kids are around, but it's a weekday so the forums stopped?

are adults infact responsible for all this?

or is it just so hot out everyone in this timezone slowed down.

Hell, using my whole-house HVAC is only costing me an extra $2.80-$3 a day depending on temp. It's been in the 90's for the past few weeks and I keep it at 73 in here.

A window unit would be cheaper but wouldn't cool but a room or two. But still, I'll pay to be comfortable in my own home.

Very true. I have been trying to get my land lord to install central air but complains it would cost to much. I told him his property value would increase with one.

(I watch how I used the word hate), but yeah; I don't like hot weather either! Like I told someone recently "2 more months to go... Let's hurry and rush them out."

What's your favorite season? Do you prefer the cold winter over the hot summer?

At least in the summer you can go swimming in the ocean or pool to cool off.

Well you can argue in the winter, you can wear thick clothes to heat up.
