polyamorous people are actually in stable relationships with multiple people, though not everyone is necessarily with each other

I wasn't lucid but I dreamt I was flying around in a cross formation(I think above a desert) and facing the sun, to be the same as the sun. I was in a crucifix position and I was on fire but it was more of an inside fire. Hard to explain but when I did it I was saying stuff like "I am the sun" while facing it. I was rising in the sky burning with it and we were One. It was a weird sun worshipping thing and we burned together. Then later in that dream I was floating around crossed legged doing the sun thing as well. There was a lot more to it all with other people at that stage but I forget.

not every kind of relationship is suitable for every person
some people can't really get behind the idea of multiple partners, or their partner having multiple partners
some people can't really get behind the idea of only sharing their love with one person

What if you don't want a relationship at all? What if multiple people don't want a relationship at all? What if multiple people don't want a relationship at all but are curious about sex and/or think of sex as a seperate thing from the relationship?

in order to come to a conclusion rather than point out a possibility or observation,
I think it requires a little bit of preconceived notion to get to that point.

You don't know what type of people Shampoo has met - and maybe you're not one of them; maybe you're the person who will be different from their past experiences and change their expectations (although, I think if that were the case you would have said "that sounds like it MIGHT BE a you issue" rather than "that sounds like a you issue").

Maybe the issue really is Shampoo, but we don't know, we're not them and haven't lived their experiences. It might be worth at least considering that polyamorous people aren't suddenly perfect just because they're polyamorous and individuals in any demographic, including that one, might sometimes have some off-putting aspects to how they treat or respond to others.
