all the talk to hard wire people into believing some average reality. so when he tries something, he will first stumble upon his own sanity.
what sanity is with these words of little meaning running in its head again and again.
Why are dating apps "nonsensical"? If a person wants to start a relationship with another person, finding people who have greater compatibility with them with a computer search seems like it is a much more logical way of doing that than just bumbling along in life and hoping you'll run into someone who happens to be a good match by random chance...
Also helps avoid the stupid social gossip scene you might encounter if you're dating at a University or a workplace where lots of people there know each other. (In the sense that it avoids having your relationship become the subject of annoying people's gossip.)
I have seen some women like this on the internet, and let's be honest, they sound even too much fair to be true, because people usually are not that completely selflessly fair... I remember that my last math professor when I was in high school used to say that she was against feminism because women have always had privileges that were very convenient for her and she did not want to give up on those privioleges... a honest even if not very fair person like this sound more genuine imo... anyway, assuming those women are genuine as well, they definitely are a minority and not even a loud one, it is very sad that they don't even notice this and don't notice the fact that most feminists just want to exploit the word "equity" now that they have noticed that the concept of equality is not convenient for them.
Considering how they are such a niche minority and also the fact that the word "feminism" itself instinctively suggest something that just want to favor women and not something that wants equality in general, so it is very misleading if they really are honest and genuine, they should find a new name for their movement and leave behind all those who just want to exploit terms like equity to just get more and more privileges and get rid of responsibilities and duties.
The level of interest in a more long-term relationship probably depends on what kind of dating app we're talking about. If it's like Tinder, probably not many people there are interested in that. But for other apps they probably attract different types of people.
