That's pretty much the mentality of anti-natalists. If you think.that the population needs to be killed off and that people should die childless you're naturally going to be pretty miserable.

Yoiu know why I am so much "pro anti natalism"? Why I feel so much the need to support it so much? Because there is one thing I blame even more than my parents... I can somewhat understand what happened to them... expecially my mother, she was naive and full of stupid hopes... my father already knew how bad life is but that piece of ♥♥♥♥ just did not care... because he is a retarded idiot... no, the thing I really cannot forgive is society, that always assume that having kids is always a good thing and brainwash individual people to think that way.
Parents are not the ones I blame the most. This is why I say that they are doing somethiong "cruel" and I don't say they are doing something "evil"... I get it, they just don't understand the consequences. The one that really made me feel brutally betrayed is socieety. This is one of the things that I hate the most about society. I am not a misanthrope generally speaking, but some things in society are really awful and this is one of the worst for me.

But in the context of this thread, you can see something that looks very close to "the world is horrible, my life has been bad, so that's why I'm for it".

I can definitely see the rationale there. For me my approach to that would be that it's impossible for something that doesn't exist to give consent so the concept itself then isn't irrelevant. That's an interesting one to think about though.

It's not mutilation, it's surgery to prevent conception. But it's clear your convictions don't run as deep as you think they do. Likewise for anti-natalists who can still impregnate women.

What the hell are you talking about? Getting surgery is not a walk in the park, if you think so I'm sorry for you.
I know women who have always known that they do not want kids and I know women who have understood that they did not want kids only after having their life destroyed because of those kids,do you think that they should be sterilized?
Also I would not need any vasectomy anyway, I have diffewrent tastes lol. It just could not happen that I make kids, not even accidentally lol.

A vasectomy can be done without a scalpel these days and doesn't require any stitches. It's not really a big deal as far as the procedure itself goes. Seems a bit odd to consider it mutilation to me given how minor it really is.

It's reversible too and an outpatient procedure.

Having kids it is not only morally "controversial" to say the least towards YOUR OWN kids, it is also a very heavy and hard burden for yourself as a parent, completely going against your own individual interests.
Ironically I can somehow understand how somebody who still want to do that despite all of this, for whatever reason (brainwash of their own hormones stronger than their logical mind, brainwash from society, brainwash from their families) feel the need to defend their opinion and deny any logical evidence "against" it so desperately.
Anyway if you so desperately want to think that me, and anybody who thinks the same as me, are just coping then you know what I don't really care too much, maybe I can have shown my "true colours" but after you have played all your cards I am very gladf to let readers judge who is in the wrong lol

tbf permanent loss of both fertility and the ability to produce sex hormones depends on what kinds of transition you go through
