Microsoft banned my MC account

Microsoft banned my MC account for a username that existed before and I took it when I saw that it was available (I bought minecraft again to claim it). This ban (imo) is unjust since the username has been used before and I barely used it but got banned because I guess I got mass reported.

Now, this ban actually restricts me from using third party services (servers) which are not affiliated with Microsoft. Is this even legal? Will the upcoming class action lawsuit change the way Microsoft can enforce ridiculous terms of service upon its users?

Typical Microsoft stuff. I had a minecraft account since its launch and Microsoft decided they need more money to finance failing quadruple games and send out an email with updated EULA and if you didnt agreed the email in 6 months the account will be suspended and bc im not keeping track of bloatmails, i lost my account to play minecraft. I really dont care that i cant play minecraft anymore and the last time i played minecraft was 10 years ago but that was shady and evil.

That’s pretty much it, I went on a server some people liked my username and some didn’t. I actually didn’t do anything else and the ban specifically tells me to change my username. I didn’t type anything offensive in the chat since I know Microsoft are the fun police.

The people who didn’t like it told me I should be banned with me replying that I literally didn’t do anything.

There’s a class action lawsuit in the making. Specifically targeting their EULA practices.
