I had a friend who was nicknamed Curly because he had curly hair. I went to a party one night and I saw Curly talking to someone at the opposite side of the room. I wanted to shout out to him to get his attention, but everybody at the party had curly hair and I didn't want them all looking at me and saying "WHAT?" in unison.

No. It damages the hair over time. Rebonding too, as far as I know.

i have wavy hair and i do get compliments on it occasionally but it is such a pain in the ass to take care of i often wish i had straight hair. even things as simple as finding good haircut references are a pain.
