Observe , Learn , and recognize patterns .
Question everything ... even things that go against the rules that were given to you. Fully listen to the entire rhetoric of the people you disagree with . This will allow you to still learn why a person thinks the way they do and it gives you insight . Realize that labels are meant to derail you and manipulate you . Only those who fully observe every piece of the puzzle can actually complete it to get the full image in its entirety .

If you rely on emotion , play a game of telephone , or stop listening the second you disagree with a statement then the manipulators have you in the palms of their hands.

Don't pick sides .... Dissect the lies , question all " truths " and " lies " . Only then can you truly realize .

Lastly ... always ask WHY ? and when given an answer ...... question it before blindly taking it in at face value .

That's very insightful coming from a pie.

True.

If they operate by this logic then they'll understand who killed Charlie Kirk and why.
Most major sites want to convince you whatever politics back them the most and recognizing that is a step forward in critical thinking

It's a cheesecake, so not very surprising. Cheesecakes can be very perspicacious, usually.

back in my day the concept of the house hippo was popular, you see?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBfi8OEz0rA

it taught the youth not to believe everything they see on television.

these days we have this "social media" hootinnanny! and it throws it all to the wind!

Don't pick a side in a conflict until you have the full picture to avoid bias and misjudgment. A skilled storyteller can easily twist a narrative to conceal their own faults and blame others.

That's why I don't use social media either, if I see a topic, I'll look it up and use the most unbiased news sources I can find and depending on the context, scientific articles and/or police findings

You've got to use your brain as well, you can't just rely on someone else to tell you what's what. In fact, those that control media also control law enforcement and the sciences so leaning into what established law or science says these days isn't exactly a selling point either. Social media certainly isn't the only manipulative source of news out there.

Indeed, good idea to keep an eye out for specific rhetoric and cross compare different sources to see the difference between the two and why

take the red pill.

no. you should throw both pills in the garbage and realize they're meant to divide you.

the 'pill' itself compartmentalizes and isolates you, and stops you from selecting alternate routes.

they will profit from you if you take the red or the blue. (elephant vs mule) they win both times you do that.

stop complying = they lose.

If you take neither pill you will just be suspended in a never ending loop of what ifs to a more extreme than just taking the blue pill, Letting life pass you by. You have to take one pill and take "life by the balls" as they say.

Spot on. Not saying *don't* look at those sources, you're exactly right. Once you've done that, in most cases it's often best to simply ask yourself who benefits most.

If I were to use Charlie Kirk as the example here, all I'm seeing is leftists and conservatives screaming at each other and "leftists" making it a point to make their hatred of Charlie known which is then amplified and broadcast to the masses that is only exacerbating tensions between the two groups.

Who benefits most from this? The government. Who is known for these sorts of operations? The government, more accurately the feds.

Now that more chaos is being whipped up and tensions are at an all time high with people referring to this as "the turning point" this provides the feds even more leverage to conduct "right wing extremism", obviously using retaliation over Charlie Kirk's death as a strong motive.

What does this afford them? Even more leverage to weasel in more surveillance measures just as they did with the LA riots with Palantir (AI platform) in order to "better identify illegals". That surveillance network was obviously not removed and remains there today spying on American citizens.
