its moveset was only bad in gen1 cause the high attack wasnt used but things changed when new attacks released after gen 1

Vaporeon was usable a lot as a tank. With its hp, acid armor, healing. And ice + water attacks covering a lot of pokemon.

arcanine is version exclusive and vapereon has legit the same speed as flareon flareons high dmg is still useful against enemies where it doesnt have type advantage.. I mean if ur version allows u to get arcanine its ofc better

Ahmmm vaporeon has the same special attack stat as jolteon and sylveon who are also special attackers but vaporeon has higher HP, better defensive typing and better coverage... so how is it the worst?

The worst one is flareon unfortunately ,not even having trailblaze now helped him a lot

Glaceon at least now is not that bad becuase snow boost defense and has snow cloak and works well with choice specs and can change typing to electric to get that resistance to steel v:

If at least flareon knew extreme speed instead of quick attack ,it would be usable v:

With tera normal and guts ,extreme speed flareon would be pretty cool

Dragonite has extreme speed and has a similar attack (134 attack) stat so imagine...

Well, arcanine is not common but any priority move is deadly combining with the damage of the toxic orb to activate guts :/

might be preferences but I pref a slow pokemon to hit harder and flareon simply hits harder and ends the fights faster without being exposed to the risk of falling asleep, getting poisoned, getting paralyzed or confused and stuff for too long.. maybe u are more the defensive type user while Im more the aggressive type user

I mean nobody would use such status conditions knowing they could activate guts in the first place ,so that risk to begin with just does not exist

I am cool with slow Pokémon hitting hard but flareon is just un-usable, it just has to many cons ,I even thought at the beggining that trailblaze would make it usable but after using it on multiple battles it was impossible to pull it off v:

Amoonguss- ugly, irritating cry, and very annoying to play against because of its bulk, Spore, and Abilities. It even gets to be extra annoying in doubles because of Rage Powder.

Honorable mentions to Zubat/Bronzor lines, Glalie, Stunfisk, and Eiscue.
