Im so sick and tired of greedy artists trying to halt AI Art
AI Art is the ultimate equalizer in the sense that it allows anyone to put in a description of what they want and then they get that, or something near enough.

It's fantastic for users. It gets rid of needing to commission every little thing saving $$ for the average bob. Not everyone is made of money to be paying artists tons of money for a picture that might take days to make when you can just roll the generator a few times and get something of equal if not better quality than the artist themselves.

The "compromise" argument is also hilarious. Anyone who pays an artist OR uses a generator is compromising because they're relying on a third party to make their vision.

AI Art Good. Greedy Artist bad. :)

not to mention you aren't waiting 6 months for something promised in a week because the artist is "sick"

By that argument, we should remove patens, then companies can fold after investing in developments of stuff and then later on society..

Then AI art could depict that as well.

Thats..thats not what populism even means....

pop·u·lism
A political approach that strives to appeal to ordinary people who feel that their concerns are disregarded by established elite groups

Give it time, a lot of people are still not well educated with how AI art works. And many haters just lash out as they feel threatened by the technology. I do AI art and have done commissions using it and the response has been positive more than anything (I only get a few haters but not many).

Okay but thats you actually having a hand in it Angel, you actually have a part in it, the machines that just run without an artist are just greedy people not wanting to pay.

Hell in this situation I respect you for at least saying that you have an AI art tech side because that still implies (TO ME) that you have a hand in art, and as one that loves graphic artists I got no issue with this.

Greedy people not wanting to pay... coming from a Greedy artist angry that their Greed is being circumvented.

I can't tell if you struggle with comprehension of English or not because you sure as hell are not a member of the elite groups and your far from making any form of political statement and far from an intelligent claim....

I hate the fact that AI art has gotten me to the point of questioning every piece of high-quality artwork.

Every time I see something that looks exceptionally well made, I’m just like, “Okay, is this legitimate or did this get made with AI? Does the character have the right number of fingers? Are any of the fingers behind the wrist? Is there a part of the image where there are no discernible shapes, where you can’t tell what you’re looking at?”

It must really suck to be a professional digital artist that draws in a highly realistic artsyle, at this point in time. You don’t really deal with this sort of problem nearly as much when it comes to more cartoon-y styles, or traditional mediums like pencil or canvas paintings.
I bet artists are sick of people that want everything literally for free, don't understand what copyright means and don't really know what they actually want... so yeah... good that they can now bother a A.I. with it...
