Who cares if its AI Generated or not? This is like the BBL Argument.. you're gonna hit it whether its natural or not if its offered to you.

Things to note:
1. The blatantly copy-pasted background. “Oh yeah, two fires that’re nearly identical with two separate staircases next to them. This definitely looks legit.”
2. Her pinky finger reaching as far back as time of Artorias.
3. Her thumb physically fused into the fabric of her clothing.
Also, I just want to point out her neck. What the hell is that supporting? She’s got a PVC pipe for a throat. Even if this was actual art made by a human being instead of an algorithm, that would still be a criticism.
Learn2anatomy, AI artists.
I am not sure that an AI created artwork will have the same meaning, emotion, or cultural significance as human created art though.
And also another aspect that AI art lacks: the inherent value of the time and effort that went into creating it. People have a deep appreciation for a person willing to dedicating hours of their life into creating a work of art. They respect the challenges and struggles that the artist overcame in the process of creating it, as well as the years of investment into perfecting their craft that allowed them to reach that point where it was possible for them to make something like that.
AI does not and can never have that kind of emotional impact. The AI is just a program that’s designed to do exactly what it is programmed to do. People might have respect for the efforts of the developers that went into creating the AI, but the AI itself and the art that it produces have no value like that of their own.
*when your so poor you can't afford AI artwork*
Heh
80% of artists can't do hands, feet, necks, or just general anatomy either
That's how it sounds.
It's going to be fun in the future when the 'inbreeding' of AIs start to happen, when all that's left to consume into a dataset is another AI artwork...
They're not being luddites though. They're for the most part angry at someone actually stealing their work to build their AIs and make money off it.
There's going to be an interesting legal development in regards data models and copyright law in the following years. Tribunals already have ruled AI artworks cannot be copyrighted. And that's not getting into how where and with which permissions many of the data models were 'trained'.
No don't make money part of its reward function!

Imo it's just about balance, and using well the tool that AI art is.
I still have a preference for "traditional / handmade" art.
