I don't know about your country, but here in Brazil, most people hate History, they associate History to communism, if you criticize n4z1sm as example, the nationalists will mention "communism was even worse" as an argument to have some "free speech".

I'm not defending communism, actually I hate both ideologies, I am very aware about what Stalin and Mao Tse Tung did in Soviet Union and China during the time they were leaders.

Look if you want to see people who hate history, most liberals/left-wingers I've bumped into hate history because history isn't on their side. They'll take something like the Nazis, and hyper-focus on their Nationalism and try to blame all the vile hatred on Nationalism, when it's very clearly the Big Daddy Government of socialism that is the problem. If Big Daddy Government were small, and the government was highly nationalistic, the Holocaust never would have happened.

People don't like reading history because it's sometimes uncomfortable and it contradicts narratives and preconceived notions.

I'm more open to the idea since medical intervention isn't encouraged. However I think the "science" of the field is heavily damaged and this might be simply a soft-indoctrination process for later surgeries/medical interventions.

a lot of things proponents of this "exploratory therapy" bring up about current treatments are either exaggerated or untrue, and a lot of things they claim to do, are done in a healthier manner as part of the standard treatment
hell, there's an official site— and they even talk about that "rapid onset gender dysphoria" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

medical intervention isn't encouraged— if anything it's hard to get there at all
and for the record, actual exploration of one's gender should also include accompanying the person in question through acceptance, in order to let them see what fits them best

Let's talk...I'm not the enemy here...if you fact the trans-activists if they weren't simply shilling for the Democrats and actually gave a crap about the trans-community should love my types of people. I like trans-folk but I reject the bad science, would love to see a solution that doesn't have body negativity or a high suicidal rate...that's it.
