What is the scariest movie you’ve seen?
Mine would be A Nightmare on Elm Street.

I have watched a ton of horror movies, some where epic, some where meh, others where eye bleeding bad. The last film I recall being absolutely terrified by was Howling 4. Back in the late 90's I was 10-11ish. Mainly the VHS cover where it was half white half picture of the werewolf. for the film it was where Richard gits bitten and Richard "melting". I re watched the entire series back in 2019. Oh god It was absolute pain to get threw. The First one was pretty good. The rest seemed to get progressively worse.....also marsupial werewolves was a terrifyingly bad idea

I think of the ones I've seen, Pan's Labyrinth is considered the scariest. But I didn't really get much of a vibe from it, honestly. Your average suspense film is scarier, IMO.

I watch horror movies religiously and nothing scares me. Ive become numb to them all. Ive watched like 95% of shudder and nothing bothers me. That being said when I was 8 my dad made me watch aliens because it was his favorite film and I had never been more terrified in my life. I miss that feeling from movies

Agreed, a lot of these movies are scarier when you are younger

Funny story actually. An ex-girlfriend of mine put on a movie at the time I had never heard of called "August Underground." She said it was a very obscure indie horror movie, and said it was something I would probably like since I like movies that leave you "thinking." She had it on a flash drive.

She plugs it in and I proceed to see the most grotesque and jarring things I have ever seen in any film in my life. The things that were just in the first 30 minutes of that movie have haunted me since 2020. I excused myself to go to the bathroom, and straight up left lol. She admittedly got mad but I just left her on read for a month.

Since then I have cut contact, she was nice, but you just can't trust someone who watches movies like that for entertainment. For the movie itself, screw that lmao.

Just saw a summary of it. To say it’s messed up would be an understatement…
