Showers are more intelligent.
Seriously, my next house may be an "upgrade.' If I can get back in there and make $$$$ it could be luxury- and even then it may not even have tubs. To me, they are one of those aspirational features that look good and people think they have to have- but never really use.
How do you define intelligent?
You are supposed to shower first to clean the filth off THEN bathe in the bath with bubbles.
The real chads are over in Finland, using saunas.
The shower is more practical for everyday use, is faster, more flexible, change between warm, hot and cold is possible. You can use it quickly or extensively.
The bath is more elaborate and time-consuming, but has a more lasting effect. The water softens the skin more and cleans deeper. the bath warms, heatens or cools deeper and can be used for relaxing, regeneration, rehabilitation and training. Better nourishing, strengthening and therapeutic additives can be used. The bath is used as a medical application too. A bath is not just about cleaning.
You can shower dayly and having a bath once a week. You can combine both and shower before having a bath or after having a bath. You can use both in pairs, but you can also slip in both. ^^
Carrying a clock and having a preference for shower can be a sighn that your time is strictly scheduled or you live in a value system where much emphasis is placed on using time effectively. "Time is money".
Having a bath is more a sighn of luxury, because the facilities are more expensive, consume more water and time. Many people have no opportunity for a bath. Having a luxory bath can be a status symbol. In some cultures there are bathing cultures and public baths.
If there is a general shift from bath cultur to shower in society, it's a sign that economic values, saving time and recources, are dominant.
By the choices we make.
Great Wisdom or a high IQ doesn't make a person intelligent.
You live in Sweden right ? So since we are talking about baths, Imagine swimming in a Swedish sewer. If it were a metaphor it would probably be something like "Swedish sewer swimming is similar to soaking in a bathtub"
Personally I feel its a meaningless metric to approximate the exact fecal concentration within a tub of bath water, in comparison to that of any particular sewer. IMO you are either putting fecal matter into your eyes, nose, and mouth, or you aren't. Its just a matter of which choice is the most intelligent, if you know what I mean.
Peace bru

If you want to clean yourself you have to always have clean water flowing over your body.
It's common to shower off clear after having a bath. ,-)
