Cringey Meat Eater posts photo of burger, thinks it's hilarious.

How would we go about stopping the use of fossil fuels? What alternatives could provide the same?

nuclear power? since it's just boiling water, you wouldn't be using up anything: it goes up in the sky, forms a cloud, comes back down. and hell, since you aren't drinking it or anything, you could just take water right from the ocean!

Vegans won't touch meat, or products of animals, but will happily devour seeds and plants, which are also living things and have a right to life?.... hmm.......
If you don't like meat, that's perfectly fine and entirely your choice to make, but don't pretend those plants and seeds are not living, because they are...

"but they has no brain, therefore they are not living". Tell that to the Kiwi plant in my garden...
It grew in the one direction that had something that could support it (my greenhouse). Any other direction and it would have collapsed, but instead it wrapped around the frame of the greenhouse so it can't collapse in the wind.
If it had no intelligence or brain, how would it know which direction to grow in to secure it's survival?

And lab grown meat is one thing we should never eat... Not only because the long term effects of fake, 3d printed meat is unknown to everyone, but also because we'll lose the ability to eat natural meat (like cattle have)

And where do you put the waste contaminated spent fuel, that is still highly irradiated and toxic to life?

Ahh, right, under ground... Yes, great plan :steamfacepalm:

What happens when those drums and concrete starts cracking and breaking up in 50 years time, and infects the water supply?

Nuclear power uses uranium and the process involves putting uranium into water which we call "nuclear waste" (this is separate from the water that gets heated and evaporated to the air). Nuclear Waste needless to say is really bad for the environment and the only way we temporarily solve the problem is to store it underground which isn't even a solution. Just delaying the problem further.

Still a lot better but it's not without its own issues.

EDIT: Got beaten to it

We call meat eaters normal people.

Vegans are typically clowns. Some doing it for good reason, but I'd say its 66% are clowns.

There is a good theoretical model for a much cleaner thorium based reactor, but I don't know if any production sized reactors have actually been built.

since it uses up very little space, you could bury it pretty easily, yeah. middle of somewhere like new mexico could work too. and since if we wanted something like solar panels or fossil fuels reliabely we would have to get resources from off earth, you could just dispense it into space instead

little space? You really don't know how it's stored do you?

I'd go read up about just how much of that stuff is actually made per year, and once made it has to be kept secure and properly stored... It actually requires security, as well as power..... It's not just dig a hole and throw it in...

You can't throw it into space either, A) we've got too much of it to do so, and B) it'll eventually re-enter our atmosphere again because of the gravitational pull...
And we certainly don't have the ability to throw it any further away.... Not in the quantities Nuclear Power creates....
