Looking for alternate combat games.

I don't exactly know what to call this specific genre of games, but im looking for a specific type of fighting games for me to play. No 2D fighters like mortal kombat, no soulslike combat, no free flow combat like the arkham games, and nothing like ghostrunner that game doesnt play out like actual combat. Also preferably games on steam. To give an example of the type of combat games i want and to tell you whats off limits as ive already discoverd them, im going to list every game I know that suits this "genre" that i know of.


Dragons dogma, the mount and blade series, we who are about to die, Gow 2018 and gowr, evil west, sifu, for honor, absolver, the chivalry games, mordhau, condemned crimnal origins, star wars jedi academy, dark messiah, mortal sin, undisputed, metal gear rising, midnight fight express, punch a bunch, clash artifacts of chaos, the zeno clash games.

also here are some non steam games i know of

That list is very... versatile. I'd suggest the Devil May Cry franchise.

Have you played star wars jedi fallen order? It's not in your list but seems pretty close to several of those titles. I know people like to crap on EA and the game isn't very deep, but I got 10-15 hrs of fun out of it.

That's just a soulslike, so it's out of the question

Aside from the ones OP has said I would reccomend Dying Light and Overgrowth
