Personally, the prom in my high school was a supposed disaster so I just went on a lowkey date with my prom date.

Yep. We only had prom as graduation party, but luckily it's quite memorable. After all when I witness 2 weaboo (and by weaboo I mean the extreme one, those two wear anime themed everything and study hard to go to the most prestigious university in Indonesia only to study japanese to become translator) confess to each other in anime style (casual form but exaggerated) japanese in front of the whole school, yeah no way you can forget that. Oh and they are promptly kicked by the headmaster after they french kiss each other after confessing, but at that point it doesn't matter. I already got second hand embarrassment from the confession. The rest of the prom is ok I guess.
