was the star fox 2 that was released on switch and snes classic the final version
I've been watching a avgn youtube video and someone in the comments explained that the star fox 2 that we got on switch and snes classic wasn't the true final version, and that one of the developers has the true final version in his possession, maybe that's just conspiracy like the one where james rolfe heard people saying that mortal kombat 2 had a character named horn buckle.

Apparently Super Nintendo. Also the Switch.

Starfox (1993) and Starfox 2 (1995) were released for the Super Nintendo. The first was a huge success due to the highly advanced "FX Chip", providing superior graphics in a 3D environment. Starfox 2 failed shortly after release, it had a lot to offer but felt like a mashup of Starfox, Doom and Goldeneye 64.

Those were the official final versions. Nintendo doesn't remake or re-release failed titles.

Sounds like AI gave you a wrong hallucinated response? Starfox 2 never released on the SNES. It never failed shortly after release because they never released it (in 1995). It was going to release in 1995. It didn't. I was released as a bonus feature on the SNES mini instead and then later put on NSO's SNES titles.

Yeah I remember at launch Starfox 2 (1995) being blasted on youtube reviews for being too much like Goldeneye 64 (1997)
