Elon Musk's lawsuits incoming! Will this spell the end of X?
Elon Musk will likely face a number of lawsuits against him quite soon since his release of Grok 2.0 AI image generation.

It's spewing out deepfakes of celebrities and others.

It's creating Nazi Mickey Mouse images and the works!

Breaking all a massive list of copyrights and privacy laws, where do you start?

Disney will likely sue and perhaps quite a few celebrities will too?

Do you believe this will be the end of X or at least his Grok AI (which is just a clone copy of OpenAI and Flux AI anyways, just with no privacy/transparency, yet you also have to pay for it)?

Will Elon Musk pay out fine after fine to be able to survive?

There's also the problem of the AI being trained on stolen content, like every other AI.

Isn't the mouse public now?

The original mouse, yes. not the modern version.

Agreed, AI just assimilates all type of information even if protected by copyright or not.
An AI tool making Disney characters look more like Nazis is kind of stereotypical ...

The other instances, I don't know.

Didn't Google or Microsoft make something that turned out to start saying racist things, and they were not fined?

Big tech never gets fined

Which artist doesn't? I look at someone promoting a new anime, you're telling me they never seen other animes and got the idea from those? Family Guy never got inspiration from Simpsons? Modern rock bands never heard heard a riff from an AC/DC or Metallica album and thought "hmm, I like that sound." In fact the instrument, and recording industry is flooded with cheap junk with some artists name on it being promoted as "buy this and you can sound like them." Whether it's "art" or music, or movies, cartoons. Everyone has seen and taken inspiration from pretty much everything that has come before it.

It's wrong for AI to listen to a bunch of pop artists to get the gist of the sound and reproduce a close approximation, but perfect fine for Taylor Swift to release copies and pasted ♥♥♥♥ we've all heard before with generic lyrics about the same ideas t hat have been done to death.

That is why people are going to have a very hard time suing AI for "copyright infringement" because it doesn't actually do anything people haven't been doing for decades. And some of the lawsuits against AI are laughable at best. Like the three largest record labels trying to sue Suno for generating music that sounds too close to their signed artists... but their signed artists sound awfully similar to other people's signed artists that it's impossible for them to prove where the inspiration actually came from.
How is musk the richest person in the world?

I mean, I understand that Mr. Ballmer and Mr. Gates are billionaires since they've created Windows. An OS that I and people close to me use on a daily basis, af home as well as at work. Zuckerberg is at the top of the billionaires list because of Facebook which I know many that use as well. Mr. Bezos and Amazon is self explainatory. But I don't know anyone in my close circle that drives a tesla or uses anything that musk has created.

So how did he become so rich to surpass everyone?

why do you want to "end X" anyways?

do you want all online platforms to be either owned by china or big soup?

I don't want a platform to be controlled exlcusively by a hypocritical narcisist like Musk who claims to be a free speech absolutist unless he doesn't like what is being said. While freely spreading misinformation and lies.

So yes, I would like Twitter to die. Or preferably being run by other people than a multibillionare who has dictatorial power over the platform.

"I don't want a powerful government elite to control information. Therefore let's have the richest person of a elite class of billionares have full control over fnformation."
Yeah, that makes total sense...

AI isn't human. It's just using math to determine how best to reproduce its training data.

Remember the whole "napalm factory grandma bedtime story exploit"?
Well, there wouldn't be a need for companies to add guardrails so that their AIs don't tell people how to make bombs if they weren't giving their AIs bomb-making instructions.
There's no curation, no respect for copyright law or public safety. They just take and steal for the sake of profit.
Who cares about Disney. They killed someone in their park by serving them essentially poison and are refusing to take responsibility for it.
i care about disney

i care about the company being shattered and split, and them losing the lawsuit

msuk bought X to end corruption of the social media... he's not going to just lay down and give it up... and he'll probably lose a bunch of money defending himself from these ridiculous american lawsuits.
lol
lmao

Interesting that Elon Musk is being sued because of his AI not having restriction to its programming to prevent users from creating a Nazi-fied version of Mickey Mouse, but when Google's AI was intentionally programmed (we all know it was intentional) to create nothing but POC and women at the absence of white men, trying to generate a picture of anything (such as George Washington) always resulted in them being black, we all just shrugged and couldn't care less.
you're not comparing ai generating black people to ai generating nazis, are you?

Disney also has a habit of suing a lot of people for not giving them preferential treatment, and failing at it. Including South Park, and the state of Florida.
who hasn't tried to sue south park tho...

south park pretty much just has immunity from censorship at this point on account of being south park... kinda like gilbert gotfried had...

Donald Trump is using the fake AI-generation of Kamala Harris on his own xTwitter to spew disinformation out now.

Who would of never seen that coming...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJmIziJdmtA

Trump also posted fake AI images of his "childhood crush" (well, when Taylor Swift was a child, not him) Taylor Swift and the Swifties, falsely claiming he has their support too.

Stuff like this, these are all fake AI-generated:

Trump has done it twice now with Taylor Swift. Done previously fake AI-Generated black supporters too, etc. All of which appears to be coming from xTwitter across to his own Truth Social.

You think Disney won't try and sue anyway? I mean they might not, but they are Disney and they might try and get away with it anyway.
For so many people to be buthurt... Especially "different" people mostly.

Elon must be doing something very right (no pun intended)!
