It could be the Dirty Harry series or the other individual film he has been in.

Over the years watching all I would settle on 'Gran Torino - 2008' and I have seen absolutely every one.

Heartbreak Ridge was pretty good.

Eastwood is a decorated hero of two wars on his last posting before retirement as a drill Sergeant. He's surrounded by officers with no combat experience or sense. And he takes a rag-tag group of soldiers and prepares them for war.

As for his Westerns. I thought Unforgiven was one of his better ones. I enjoy the man with No-Name but very simplistic plots.

If you liked Fist Full of Dollars I'd recommend Last Man Standing with Bruce Willis. Pretty much the same storyline except Bruce Willis is a 1930's gangster.

Out of all of them I would choose the Dirty Harry series.

The funny thing is that the original is the best known- but in it he was not "The kind of cop we need." He was the criminal.

In the second movie they immediately reversed it and he was determined to stick with the system until someone comes up with something better and ended up killing the dirty cops.

From there on out each one of the movies became more thoughtful- with a few gratuitous scenes thrown in for good measure.
