I mean I to would hate working at a job that at first seems like a wonderful place for a gamer to be staffed at, that is until you come under tactical fire by angry geeks that somehow look like they fell out of the video game world or karen parents who are somehow worse then they normally are. Or you get the worst ones, those that come in and need to be told that no, you can't refund PC CD games and then explain the whole law to that while either getting screamed at by a bloated blobfish redneck or the other kind of parents who think they are hot**** and rich or some kind of sudden authority yet they only work the 9-5 as a gas station checkout worker.

Last time I walked into a gamestop, it was mostly toys, trading cars, and puzzles. I didn't see many games.

The gamestop here only sale console games not a pc game in sight. Yet they sell razer and Logitech mice and keyboards for pc.

Also the place here is to nice as they allowed a 10 or 11 year old buy gta V with a bunch of change. Kid should of been told take his change to the bank then come back.

gamestop is probably one of THE WORST places to work

you're basically playing car salesman for video games in a business plan that's doomed to fail

it failed with blockbuster
it failed on sears
toys r us
etc.

the only reason they're still alive is nostalgia and because some redditors got lucky and meme'd their way to keeping it alive.
