Why is pride month such a big thing
Like I'm not trying to be homophobic or anything, just genuinely curious on why it's such a big thing, like why we can't just be gay or lesbian or other things quietly? Like I don't think it should be anyone's business about what we do behind the closed doors.

Not if your straight, there isn't a straight pride month, or a anything like that. If you need a rainbow flag to feel represented or anything like that, you aren't from America. As someone with Autism, and Native American ancestors, all I need as representation and to feel welcomed is to see an American flag flying high, because those stripes represent the original 13 colonies, and those 50 stars represent the 50 existing states, which to me means, that flag represents every man, woman, and child living in America, regardless of if their in the alphabet community, black, brown, orange, purple, or what ever god they believe in if any. That flag represents Americans. [/quoteGod bless America. A true patriot.

I may be a Patriot, but I'm quite possibly one of the most useless ones. XD Still I owe my life to those who fought in wars, especially World War 2 Vets, if not for them due to my disabilities alone I'd have not been born, so I take every chance I can to show my respect and honor every Veteran I meet in any way I possibly can.

This flag lack hundreds of Native American nations.
Hey, people who fly that flag are far more welcoming of the Native Americans then the Spanish and British were. Not only that, since we are Native Americanbs

Would be right, but it was the Native Americans who were largely responsible for the original 13 colonies forming. The Native Americans taught what plants and such could be used for medical purposes, what was safe to eat, ETC, to those who first arrived, then the British came and started slaughtering us, the original 13 Colonies with the help of France kicked the British out, sure there were unfriendly relations after, but we aren't being treated as slaves, and even have our own reservations. That flags done more for my ancestors and those who fly it proudly even above the Pride flag still feel more welcoming toward us then any other flag, so that's enough for me to feel represented by the American Flag.

generally speaking people will mistreat you without any actual reason, and being gay tends to not only give people a reason, but it also makes it so that your only real peers are people who have been abused. and are thus statistically likely to repeat that abuse ad infinitum to anyone and everyone around them.

pride is somewhere people can go and feel pride instead of shame for being who they are.

but it's used to shame anyone who isn't a part of that social circle, no matter what orientation they may be, and the end result is unsurprisngly enough more abuse. except now that abuse is tied up with positive feelings, instead of negative ones.

most of the people I've talked to who have interacted with or through pride have met all of the worst predators they've ever been with there, and a large contingent of the pride scene is explicitly predatory in nature. people have been beaten up for not wanting to hook up before, and while that's an extreme example it is reflective of the norms which have become involved in modern pride.

indubitably
Indubitably is an adverb that means “impossible to doubt.” It has a meaning similar to doubtless and undoubtedly, but it represents a much stronger degree of certainty.

irregardless of the usage of 'ir' to display heedlessness,

some people don't have feelings and won't ever consider yours. only whether your linguistic paradigms are an obstacle to their good feelings, convenience, and ease of access to continued employment.

That's because for a long long time people were taught to be ashamed of that.

Have you heard of Newton's 3rd law? I bet you have:

For every action (force) in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Yes, because of the religion.

No, just because there's power in controlling people.

Same reason they're made to feel pride about it.

Yup, it's no surprise that traditional religions hate gay people, no offspring means no new adepts to fill their temples and give them money :WH3_greasus_rofl:

Not only that. When people make laws to manage the society at large. Morals is like a foundation that laid in for laws to be created.

There's an old expression: "A house cannot be built without a foundation". What that means is there a structure to build a society. If one start taking away morals and good behavior, the society wouldn't run right.

This is what many of us are fighting and continue to fight for a better society. While religion played a very small part, however is not the whole reason.

Another example "you shall not commit murder". Granted we have laws against murder because it is immoral to commit such act. Therefore we have laws against murder. It same idea as this subject.

Are you really putting murder and sex with the same gender in the same bag? I hope you're not serious.

He's suggesting the carlverse justifies his behavior, no matter what it is.

The rest of the argument is just a false flag he's creating to push that angle to himself.
