It doesn't affect me since I'm not buying a new computer.
I didn't know so many of you were interested in picking up new laptops.
I'm having a great time on Windows 11 BTW.
The recall thing is kind of weird, but I don't really have anything to hide so it's whatever. If Mr FBI Agent over at Microsoft wants to watch me die to the same DOOM level for half a hour then that's his problem.
Besides, didn't they already announce they're going back on that decision anyways and it's now off by default? This is just a nothingburger issue now.
That definitely sounds like you did something obviously wrong trying to debloat Win 11.
These days it's as simple as running a powershell script. Very foolproof.
You had the relevant animations turned off in 10 but forgot to do the same in 11, since they are the exact same options.
or permissions for detect os,
Well you can turn it all off.
rant
Whenever I open it there is a gap at the "seam", and it looks as if something is coming apart inside. There "screws" aren't normal screws, two of them are missing, but it is impossible to put them back. Bloody built-to-scrap stuff... now I know one more thing I have to keep in mind when buying a new one
oh, and as of today it refuses to charge the battery , yay?
