If it freaks you out that this was entirely AI aside from the writing, or upset by that, I don't entirely blame you. AI is scary, and this kind of thing is probably seen as an insult among real musicians, but that's not stopping me from doing things that are fun. Like making and sharing this.

You actually can get it to write lyrics for you, I just decided to do it myself this time.

Suno provides some nice outputs for experimenting but the music itself doesn't have that studio quality and you can also hear that the vocals are unnatural (generated). There's still a long way to go before AI could replace music industry in any way. Other than being a tool.

Also I'm a bit interested in how streaming services will tackle the spam of AI music when bots begin to generate lyrics with AI and upload those generations to places like Spotify in masses.

That would explain why I one time got a phone call from someone, who asked me how I was, then just hung up after I asked how we was, then called again a week later. Granted, the second time, I answered and just said nothing, but I did hear him say 'Hello?'.

That's a potential problem. I thought about that too. I'm quite careful with it myself. A.I. is a tool, but can potentially give problems to people.

This is what I am talking about. (Please don't watch this video if you are below 18 years old.) The video's purpose is to demonstrate how a human could potentially protect itself from rogue A.I., and not to entertain or shock.

I read the terms of service, and yeah -- I know it's fun, but what I was doing isn't actually allowed, as the rap lyrics are copyrighted, and the terms explicitly forbid using copyrighted material.

Sucks. Because it's so fun.

Reading the terms of service took away all my ambition for playing with this thing, though.

My next project would have been pulling a Weird Al Yankovich and making angry, sad, and angsty songs into happy upbeat polka tunes. Alas.
