The Panda lost its brain today.
I'm on my way to 37, I think we can drop the whole "oh, these young Millennials!"
Besides, right now we're considered ancient by the new generations, which is fine by me.
Hold on, I'm gonna need a 15 minute break before finishing that sentence.
Good thing I'm in a Union...
what I want is them to CONFORM..
there are in a society normal things you CONFORM to those.
grow up and not be such a wussy who only does what he likes but recognises you are a member of a team a society with social rules you MUST obey.
that also means buy gifts, buy your own tools, buil enough furniture and chinaware for all your guaests yourself.. and store them away the rest of the year when your not using them like a normal person.. also even when you don't drink coffee you buy a coffee machine just as when you are vegan you buy meat.. just as we buy tea for you we don't drink and veganburgers we not eat.. you buy the things your GUEST like when you are a host.
when there is a bbw or potluck or such you chip in your fair share. you also make sure you have eaten a normal lunch so your not a ravenous beast who plunders halve the food thats ment for 20..
->
if there are tasks to do in a team.. or as a family or in the neighbourhood.. you do your fare share of the load.. even if that means working or volenteering a few more hours
->
and if all this means you cannot afford your current amount of holidays while only working so few hours than you either stop going to go on so many holidays or work more.. you don't live large if you skimp out and are a d*ck to others.
oh and I not care how you normally like to dress or behave ADAPT.. if it's normal where you go to wear a hat, or shoes, or cover tatoos, or any other etiquette you follow it!
don't be rude..
yes live in your tiny house only having 2 sets of clothing, eating from dumsterdived food while working only 16h a week and be on holiday 9/12 months... but CONFORM..
don't lact like the spoiled little princess.. your likely are raised as single child.. you should have had siblins and gotten a spanking and set borders now and than..
but ok you never got that.. but time to face the real world anyway.. stop acting like a spoiled princes..
Nah I get it
I can see our generations being looked on poorly, we knew what was likely to happen, we did litlte - the blinkered generation, the uncaring, the generation that fell asleep at the wheel
We're seeing the fraying of capitalism and globalism and we're just like 'shrug' so what, we had the worlds information in our hands, and watched cat videos and people fall into conspiracy and disinformation campaigns....everything's divided so the dividers can turn group A against group B and we....just lap it up
We didn't 'fight the man' like the hippies and the punks, we just got broken down and gave up
It sucks, I'd hate to be in the dating pool, the expectations and demands, and for what?
Nah, the passport bro's and MGTOWers - they're better off - family and that units been attacked and killed
I'm comfortable, but I'm never going to own my house, and wasn't blessed with children, which....I don't know, given how I see the world going, that could be the blessing
We're not lazy, we just surrendered to the inevitable
When it really starts to hit the fan in 20/30 years time and we're all 60+ and our grandchildren look forward and then look to us and what we could have done then, that they can't now, and ask us 'why' we won't be able to justify it, or rationalise it, we lost and gave up....it was too much, and we just shrugged and let it happen
Shut up about Boomers, you don't know what a Boomer is.
A boomer probably wouldn't even use terms like Gen Z.
The only difference between the older generation and the younger generations now is the younger generations have had some things very easily handed to them technological wise.
That is why music is so toilet of the modern era.
As the janitor says in the breakfast club to the teacher :
The younger generation hasn't changed, you have.
It is sad than not a single person knows about IOU
It's not worth it. Back during the boomer times a single working man could sustain a family of 4. Now you can't even sustain yourself. You didn't need to know much to get the job. Way less work hours than today.
So long as I got food in my belly I'm good. I will probably end up living in a van or something if I run out of money. No way I will destroy my body overworking myself for nothing. Not even healthcare insurance.
